The country's policies that have a greater impact on the LED industry mainly come from two aspects. One is that major macroeconomic policies provide a good policy environment for the future development of the industry; the other is the implementation of a series of standards related to LED explosion-proof lamps, which is conducive to market regulation.
The Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee proposed to deepen the reform of the scientific and technological system, explicitly encourage original innovation, establish a collaborative innovation mechanism for production, education and research, strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in technological innovation, strengthen the use and protection of intellectual property rights, and integrate scientific and technological planning and resources. The sustainable development of my country's semiconductor lighting strategic emerging industry points out the way forward. At the same time, the "Semiconductor Lighting Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Promotion Conference" hosted by the High-tech Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Environmental Resources Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Economic Construction Department of the Ministry of Finance, and undertaken by the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance, was also held in Beijing. At this stage, domestic and foreign standards have issued some documents that have a greater impact on the industry. First, nine departments including the National Standards Committee formulated and released the "Development Plan for Standardization of Strategic Emerging Industries", which made it clear that by 2015, about 60 standard complexes would be built, and more than 600 national and industry standards were urgently needed. Specific measures for standardization work in strategic emerging industries including semiconductor lighting.
The two national standards related to the semiconductor lighting industry play an important role in regulating the market, guiding consumption, accelerating the penetration of LED lighting products, and promoting energy conservation and environmental protection.
